Michelle Smith and Pamela Daly from Magee decided to hold the ‘Fit 4 Fashion’ show to fund the ‘Bike 2 Belarus’ campaign which will see 23 students undertake a 100 mile bike ride interspersed with aid work.
The work they will carry out will include building foundations for greenhouses and facilities for the disabled, plus running educational programs for local orphans.
Miss Smith said she is overwhelmed by the response to the event.
“It’s a great opportunity for the students to show the public what they can do and it is all for a worthy cause,” she said.
“We have carefully planned every detail so there is something that will catch everyone’s eye during the show, from that simple casual look to the dress of your dreams for your big day, and everything in between.
“We hope to gain the support of the whole city and surrounding areas at this, exciting, fashion filled night.”
An eclectic range of retailers from the city have jumped at the chance to support the worthy cause.
Converse Models and students from the University of Ulster will hit the runway in style with hair and makeup from top salon Syenna.
Guests will be welcomed with a champagne reception and will enjoy live entertainment, an exciting prize draw.
With celebrity host Laura D overseeing proceedings, Fit 4 Fashion is one fashion event not to be missed.
Doors open at 7.30pm with Fit 4 Fashion kicking off at 8pm. Tickets are available for £10 from the Tower Hotel or by contacting Michelle on 0785 454 4282 or Pamela on 0774 206 2517
