Future of the Feis
The future of Derry’s world-famous Feis will be discussed at a meeting tomorrow.

In recent years, the Feis has been moved from its traditional home of the Guildhall because of the Bloody Sunday Inquiry.
However, the organisers are keen to bring the event, which attracts up to 6,000 competitors each year, back to the Guildhall.
The issue will be discussed during a meeting of Derry City Council tomorrow.
In a report prepared for the meeting, council officials highlight that it will cost approximately £30,000 to provide a new main stage in the Guildhall for the event.
