The distraught sister of young Emmett Shiels made an emotional appeal to those falling under the influence of undesirable elements, such as those involved in her brother’s murder, to desist from their violent activities.

Her appeal came as two men were being questioned by police last night in connection with the murder of the 22-year-old.

The men handed themselves into Strand Road PSNI station and were subsequently arrested and taken to the serious crime suite at Antrim PSNI station for further questioning.
