IN today’s Derry News, Derry City Chairman Pat McDaid gives his most revealing interview yet about the crisis threatening the very existence of the football club.
In a candid interview, McDaid answers all the questions the fans have demanded answers to and explains why the club is in a perilous condition with just two games of the season left.
The Chairman gives his response to the Derry City players going public, and explains how their actions could have hindered the club’s chance of securing their wages before December 21.
He also reveals a brand new vision for the club which will stave off any threat of closure, and reveals why he is prepared to drop down to the First Division if it will help save Derry City Football Club.
The Derry News has spoken to all parties concerned in today’s edition including manager Stephen Kenny, who has revealed that some players have had to ask their parents for money to pay their debts.
Barry Molloy also gives the players’ point of view, explaining how they have been left ‘demoralised’ by the events at the club and how the current crisis has affected him personally.
