THREE prominent buildings in Derry’s city centre are being sold for a combined total of almost £1.3m, it can be revealed today.
The Derry News has learned that there has been strong interest in the three adjoining buildings at 29-35 Shipquay Street and the sale is expected to go through in next few weeks.

A total of 15,512 parking tickets were issued in Derry last year – raking in almost £1m in fines.
The Derry News can today reveal the details of every parking ticket issued in the city in 2009.

A knife-wielding thief robbed a shop in Creggan on Friday night.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an armed robbery at the shop at Rathlin Gardens at 8.40pm on Friday.

THE mother of the Derry man murdered on the outskirts of the city last week has spoken of her family’s heartbreak.

A taxi driver last night described his miraculous escape after two large rocks were thrown through the windows of his car in Derry.
